Slow Down Winuae Wish
I'm playing Superfrog now using a Samsung 206BW 60hz monitor. Side scrolling is sluggish as always. Just tried the VSYNC option and game becomes extremely sluggish. Checked the match A500 speed and it fixed the sluggishness and scrolling is perfect but game is running fast like NTSC and music is also faster. Is there a way to slow down emulation just the right percantage so it plays at 60fps but with normal speed and music but without breaking the perfect scrolling? So if 60/100*x=10 x=16.666666666666666666666666666667 percent slow down from 60fps would give us 50 fps.
I guess that's not possible? |

Not possible.
LCD monitor designers are stupid. Most monitors that support 50Hz via composite/s-video/rgb scart still won't accept 50Hz via VGA/DVI/HDMI.. (even if display card supports 50Hz modes) |

I fiddled around with the utility called Powerstrip and managed to lower the refresh rate of the native resolution (1680-1050) to 50hz. Perfect scrolling at last. (Apart from the ghosting of the lcd)

I prefer CRT for this. I'm using 19" Samsung at 50Hz or 100Hz rate. Works great with custom resolution designed in Powerstrip for amiga emulation.

Yeah, I'm thinking of getting an LCD monitor but when using emulators I tend to play the lo res synced stuff on my TV out at 50hz anyway!
