Some stuff I wish to give away

I've got a fair amount of Amiga games that I obviously can't use myself, and which I bought mainly in the hope of passing on to the nearest SPS official for contributing/dumping/databasing.

At the moment I have the following if anyone's interested...

* The Secret of Monkey Island (Kixx XL budget release)
* Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (Original retail release)
* Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (Kixx XL budget release)
* Colonization (Acid Software re-release)
* Kingpin Arcade Bowling
* 16-Bit Hit Machine (compilation)
* Cartoon Collection (Codemasters compilation)
* Dizzy's Excellent Adventures (compilation)

And just obtained yesterday...

* Switchblade (Kixx budget release)

(On that note, I'm also interested in the Atari ST version of this very same Kixx budget release that's currently on eBay. Who should I send that to should I decide to go for it?)

I'm hoping to be done with this stuff before my parents decide to give them to a charity shop or whatever behind my back, thus undoing all my good work. Any serious takers? Don't know if you specifically wanted them for free, but I have yet to come up with a good price in my head.

Hi,
If none of the SPS guys wanted it, I'd be interested in MI2 original.
I'm about to dump some games for them anyway.

I think there could be versions in there we do not have already, the rest is very common.

If you want to donate them and ville9 does not want them, I'd go for them and dump them...

I'll consider it! Where are you situated exactly btw?

Also, I should probs point out that the Kixx XL Monkey Islands differ from the retail versions in that the codewheel protection is non-existant, if that's of any interest of you!

BTW, I'm this moment eyeing up yet another item of interest... according to HOL the games on this are formatted (the right word?) quite differently to their retail equivalents. Won't cost me too much either! So I can add that to the list too...

Hi, I would be interested in the 4 below if no one else has taken them, how much would shipping be to to the UK or Japan?
Cheers!

* The Secret of Monkey Island (Kixx XL budget release)
* Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge (Original retail release)
* Switchblade (Kixx budget release)
* Colonization (Acid Software re-release)

Well shipping I'd have to work out somehow. Might as well ask btw: are you planning on dumping the games for SPS? That's mainly why I bought the games to begin with, but being crappy old me I don't have the means of dumping them myself.

Oh that's cool.

Although I just had a thought. I partly hoped that by getting a game sent directly to one of the SPS team there'd at least be a chance that I'd personally get sent an IPF afterwards so that I can check it out for myself sooner (which would benefit someone like me, seeing as I can't just simply check the games out on an Amiga to see if a particular version behaves differently to another, or whatever) and see if everything is okay, rather than wait for any varied amount of time until an IPF is inevitably and quietly released "into the wild", so to say.

At least I think I've got it accurate there. Feel free to correct me if I've made any glaring mistakes.

Hello, I am interested in all 3 monkey islands(MI1 Kixx, MI2 Original & MI2 Kixx).
Do they all have manuals, what condition are the boxes in and how much would you be looking for?

Sorry, had a lot on my mind of late.

Well I can see this being harder than I anticipated. Many people want the same games. I still have yet to decide/work-out prices and shipping costs.

I'll be honest with you guys - I've never really done a deal like this before, so of course I'm going to struggle a bit. All I kept thinking about was being rid of these games but through a good/useful purpose - getting them preserved and SPSified for all who's interested.

Hmmmmm.....

I don't mind doing any of that, if I can, I don't know much about the whole SPS thing though. I presume you need a special program which only the priviledge have?

Sorry about hassling you!

Thanks for the reply.

Seems they give it to pretty much everyone with a capable machine, so I guess even you will get it
