I've tried both ADF2DSK and Trans-GUI and they copy and verify fine but show up as NDOS or something and can't be booted from. Does anyone have a site that has the original ADF files?
I've got some fully working Amiga floppies from a reliable source thus I also want the original files Amiga 1200 UPDATE - On further testing, THEY WORK!!!!!! It seems I need better ADF files and not the cracked jobbies, so which is the best site for ADF's? UPDATE 2 - And it froze my Amiga at the language selection screen, bollox Last edited by TCD; 15 May 2014 at 00:13. Reason: Back-to-back posts merged |

Not all AmigaDos/NDOS disks are bootable.
You will find most ADF's are "Cracked Jobbies" and on the whole are fine but some simply don't work. |

Yep which is what I've come across, gutted as that's the reason I purchased these floppies, to be bootable

K240 & Frontier elite 2 appear to be standard AmigaDos disks so they should write back O.K. I don't know which Dizzy you mean but Dizzy's adventures looks like an AmigaDos disk also.
Deutros is a NDOS disk and may require a different program to copy the image to a floppy disk. If you want to send me the originals and the blank floppies, I have a Kryoflux and I can write the images to disks for you. Last edited by TCD; 15 May 2014 at 00:13. Reason: Back-to-back posts merged |

Most of those don't appear to be cracked. The Skid Row (SKR) crack should work.
You should consider getting some fast ram or an accelerator so you can use WHDLoad. |

Why does everyone keep mentioning WHDLOAD, I've been here long enough
I'm trying to keep the original boxes as well as working floppies, it completes the set |

If mold is the culprit then that soft paper tissue that's inside floppies should be changed also. All in all that would be some undertaking. To clean floppy disk case without damaging original label .
