I know, I have a colleague that is a climber. Training the back muscles is the way to go.

Climbing is a little out of my reach though, I do jogging which helps (sounds weird but you know, you have to keep your back straight for an hour so you train more than your legs). I want to add swimming to the roster too, that is a little more challenging schedule-wise.

Better to do these things long before you need to do them to fix things

48 yo here, triple vaxxed and a belly (I am not lovin' it, but sedentary lifestyle, late night cravings and all). The Amiga scene definitely needs younger blood and less old farts (just joking.... maybe not ). I don't smoke, don't drink much (when I do, not the finest stuff, run of the mill beer mostly).

Opposite, tried smoking (and quit right away) at 20 and drinking since 13.



Just to be clear, where I am from, I was able to buy alcohol (and drinks) since I was 7.

I'm 40, was kinda late to the Amiga as they were pretty expensive machines when I was a kid, so it was only when the rich kids had them that I even got to see one until into the '90s. I and most of my friends were still firmly in the 8-bit era until the early '90s as those were the affordable machines at the time.

Definitely feeling my age these days, though I'm pretty sure that's more to do with having a kid than actual years. Before my son came along, I was partying, travelling, cycling, playing football, always at gigs and festivals, indulging in loads of hobbies, generally living it up. I wouldn't change my son for the world of course, but I'm definitely a different person since then, a perpetual zombie and a shadow of my former self. It's not the age, it's the mileage, as the saying goes.

Still have indoctrinated Little Havie (who is looking forward to being 16 next year) to like all things retro and he is an Amiga fan - just don't play Rodland with him as he always manages to pick you up and throw you in the path of a onion/bulb creature!

What's even worse is he is now doing the Retroquiz and beating us oldies...

He may even pop along to say 'hello'?

I am a collector, so yeah. I surround myself with all my vintage machines, sometimes its hard to believe how many I have right here with me! I got into the Amiga as an extension of my fascination with the Sega Genesis and other 16-bit machines as a very young kid. Course the Genesis having its fair share of Amiga ports, and a later obsession with WipEout and Psygnosis didn't help, so I kinda just got sucked in, and I do a lot of my work on my Amigas and other machines now, the poor Genesis is dusty!

Two friends and I bought 500's the week they came out here on Oz.

Sadly, both have since passed away.

Never though I would still be an Amiga enthusiast 30+ years later.

retro for 20+ year old is something with 64GB not 64 Kb (or 20Kb) like must of us grew up with but I supplies it’s all relative

Yeah. That was the year I was born.

"Immature", I simply refuse to become an adult mentally. That youthful creativity must not fade away!
