Twitch banned Revision for nudity. There was a pixel or two of nipples to see on a photo in the Photo Compo. But the German CCC took over and helped out, thus the new URL:

Can you believe this s**t. And yet twitch thots run wild.... A demo comp watched by 1000s of geeks taken down over nothing. The organisers deserve a medal for having a backup plan (which they surely must have had!)

GAFA = Google Apple Facebook Amazon

Basically the huge Internet companies. Also referred to as FAANG but without Netflix because they run on Amazon Web Services.

Anyhoo, it's not really about being prude or not, it's about knowing what the service you're using for streaming says is ok, and the Revision organizers unfortunately apparently haven't followed the recent twitch controversies.

I watched the new feed all day yesterday after Twitch took em offline. Some amazing demos in the 4k / 8k / 64k categories. Its still beyond me how they fit it in. This forum post right here will be more than 4k and those coder guys are writing multicoloured whizzy shaders throwing graphics all over the screen, morphing and shining away like a multi mb demo. Amazing stuff, or as Truck said "What the actual fsck!!".

Be good to see the Amiga stuff on Pouet (don't know how long it usually takes to be released?) and downloadable for another "real" watch via MiSTer maybe.

Lots of very cool stuff yesterday.

Standard for American companies (and many American people too it seems) - violence is fine and a normal part of everyday life, but nudity can damage a fragile child's mind
