Fire and Ice versions - Mr Braybrook is waiting.....
On Twitter just now, Andrew Braybrook, Steve Turner and Jason Page were talking about the CD32 and 1200 versions of Fire and Ice, can anybody give them the details on what was released?
Does this mean there is an unreleased 1200 version? Andrew Braybrook (@UridiumAuthor) tweeted at 7:00 p.m. on Wed, May 05, 2021: Whatever happened to the Amiga A1200 version with this background layer too? It was a stepping stone to the CD32 version. Thought it got released. Thought I had a box and everything. Apparently not. Mystery unreleased game version alert!!! There's not even a hint of there ever being an A1200 version. If a version of a game was advertised then HOL would have an entry for it and just have it marked as unreleased, but there's nothing..

Anyway the CD32 version is a A1200 (hard disk) version. It has parallax, and even on chip music so with whdload it runs perfectly on a A1200 and doesn't miss any features (except maybe the MFM+code protection )
(I remember a "crack" that ran without startup sequence too) |

Same issue as Uridium 2, Renegade didnt want to publish a specific AGA version, presumably because the standard version didnt sell enough to warrant it. I dont remember how, but Andy Jolly was in contact with Andrew Braybrook, and the latter was bemoaning that he couldnt get U2 AGA published, and sent it to Andy to evaluate, and im guessing Fire and Ice was the same problem. |

Andrew mentioned that he had full AGA version of Uridium 2 on a hard drive in one of his Amiga 1200 machines.
All I can say is that I communicated my conviction that if he chose to share it, it would be very warmly received by the Amiga community. Andrew Braybrook @UridiumAuthor Replying to @000Angus000 The standard edition couldn`t really use AGA, it had to work to the lowest common denominator. The AGA version had more RAM and a faster CPU so it had more effects running all the time. No brakes! 1 extra bit-plane of graphics, so double the palette. 1:49 pm · 6 May 2021·Twitter Web App |

If the AGA version of Uridium 2 came out I’m sure everyone would bust a Mr Nutz in appreciation.
