Kixx XL Games

Currently staking out a few purchases on eBay, of games I appear to have misplaced or never bought.. The Kixx XL versions appear to be selling for a remarkable discount - anything I should be wary of? Are these junk, or just not as collectable?

If no one want them now they may be collectable after some time because of rarity.

They are budget re release.
I have a couple and beside the box art there isn't that much difference.
"Collectors" prefer first run release. Me I buy to play, not to look at the box.

I grabbed a bundle of KixxXL Eye of the Beholder 1 & 2 for Amiga. As far as I can tell the only difference is that the manual is in B&W (it wasn't exactly in color anyway, IIRC).

They are cheaper, because their boxes are uglier. Thats all.

Yup, and were a cheap way to play old amiga classics when I was a kid. Parents were more likely to fork out 7.99 as opposed to 19.99 to 25.00.
