Hi guys,
Any chance of some help and advice please as I have hit a brick wall.I wish to play mp3's on my A1200 Blizzard 1230 iv 16 meg ram and 2 gig HD.I am running WB3.1The program refuses to recognize the mp3 files and so I have tried running the same prog' under WinUAE on my PC (YUK) .Here it tells me

"could'nt open device: 'melodympeg.device' Unit 0

I have downloaded AHI and mpega_library for my real miggy but without an installer script.Could I have failed to install these programs properly?Any advice would be welcomed as my balding pate is going into overdrive

To install mpega.library is easy: just choose the processor version matching your machine and copy it as mpega.library to libs:

AHI comes with an installer script. You should download it again.

Then check the configuration. First check the AHI preferences. Set a proper audio mode for unit 0. Then check Amplifier's settings. You should choose AHI for output (if you want to use AHI) and the software mpeg decoder. Hardware decoding with melodympeg.device can only be used if you have a Melody sound card.
