My new modern trapdoor RAM, called A512, is way better designed then the RC512k - the PCB has exactly the right width for the slot so it can only inserted the correct way and fits really nice. Has also some additional features which I don't use, but still - nice to have.
I really shouldn't have saved these few euros on the first RAM expansion and should have got the A512 in the first place  If you buy cheap, you buy twice ^^
