Amiga Indie Hardware Developments

I have set up a webpage that I thought it would be interesting for us Amiga geeks. It is an attempt to list all currently comercially available Amiga hardware hacking developments that are not sold thru common Amiga retailers (Amigakit, Vesalia, etc).

Let me know if I have missed some neat device.

http://lilliput.amiga-projects.net/Indie.htm

Hope it provides some assistance to our small community.

Excellent thread, thanks. Just ordered a External CF card which I would not have known about if it wasn't for this thread.

Be nice to have a column with the Amiga models that each device is compatible with.

There is a Brazilian guy called Victor Trucco that made a HxC counterpart that have write capability.

He also do lots of other boards for classic computers (cartridge emulators, test board for Spectrum, among other cool hardware).

Will contact him about the floppy emulator.

@Turran
I am glad you found use for it.

@seuden
Nice idea. Will do that when I have a bit more spare time.

@rkauer
Please do contact that guy, and if he has some units for sale let me know and I will add his contact info.

@wXR
No problem, I will add it as soon as they have something for sale.

Talking with Victor he told he sold the design to an European enterprise. It was the first floppy emulator that could write back to the SD. Pity...

It is only the title of the entire website, and that is why it only appears in the browser tab of that webpage.

I think someone should make ethernet network card for A500/1000. It would sell like hotcakes!

True. Somewhere, there is someone selling hotcakes and saying: "Man, these are selling like A500 network cards would."
Especially with all these A500 accelerator cards coming up, this model will get some power.

There are some serial to ethernet converters around with built in PPP to ethernet firmware around. Maybe the solution lies in there, and is waiting for someone to test it and cash it.
