WinUAE 2.1, Catweasel, and Windows 7 x64
I think some of this has been previously discussed, but I have a Windows 7 system (x64) with the Catweasel board installed, and WinUAE 2.1.
There are no 64-bit drivers for Catweasel, but I understand that none are necessary with the more recent versions of WinUAE. If that is the case, do I need to configure any special settings in WinUAE? I have tried to access my floppy through WinUAE, and I just see that it reports the drive is empty. Has anyone successfully used a Catweasel Mark IV on Windows 7 x64 with WinUAE (any version)? I saw an earlier post that the -directcatweasel parameter needs to be specified at the command line; I tried that, but the results were the same. Finally, several years ago when I was having problems with Catweasel on another system, there was some discussion about using the middle connector to the floppy rather than the one at the end. I have not tried that, but is that still an issue? Thank you for any and all help. Jeffrey |

Catweasel instructions linked in winuae.net may or may not still work. I stopped supporting non 64-bit compatible devices long time ago.
