I suppose it could for programs like DPaint or apps that kill the system (These would be better)
As for Workbench err... Why? |

I suppose it could be done, a WHD guy would need to give more details. Though I really CAN'T see kick 1.3 etc running >kickstart and anyway all you'd need to do is softkick a laeter KS into memory (That's all WHD would most likely do!)

That is no problem.
I have running Workbench 1.2, 1.3 and 3.1 under WHDLoad. Mainly for testing. Sometimes it may useful to try software there without danger to the own system. There are generic slave sources in the developer archive of WHDLoad. Anybody which can use a Assembler should be able to build a slave for that. Workbench installation is a simple copy of the disks to the install directory. Some commands may cause access faults (e.g. setpatch, setclock,...) these must be disabled in the startup-sequence. It was also planned to make a install package for that. But not finished due lack of time. I have a nearly ready install package for WB13. And also I feared to get too much requests because of that, concerning app xy will not run under this. |

Yeah, nag Girv until he releases the WHDLoad version
No seriously though, not really sure to be honest, I only ever ran it on a standard A1200, not tried it on my 030 either! |

hello,
I would like to test the workbench slave but I don't have workbench1.2 or 1.3 I have 2.1-3.0-3.5-3.9 original diskd but not the old workbench disks. I don't imagine I need this old disks one day If someone know where to found, please give me a link (or put in the zone the installed version). |
