It's a Knockout! 2016/17: Qualifying Round - Slam Tilt
It's a Knockout! 2016/17: Qualifying Round - Slam Tilt Starts: 00:01 November 27 Finishes: 23:59 December 10 Rules Rules are available here. Super League rules are here. Post a picture of your score here with the score written underneath. Enter as often as you like. We will play two tables - Mean Machines and The Pirate. The scores from each table will be added to form your total. Tied scores will be separated by whoever submitted their score first. No cheating (including save states) - anyone caught cheating gets disqualified. Here's how the qualifying system works: Between 9-13 people enter: 8 people qualify. Between 14-17 people enter: 12 people qualify. 18+ people enter: 16 people qualify. Remember you have to enter this round to have any chance of playing later on - but please only enter if you feel you will be able to commit to playing the full tournament (this is important, too many people who qualify and then don't take part in the later rounds which spoils the competition). Have fun and feel free to ask any questions you may have. As I said on Lemon, about the Mean Machines table:
Quote:
Tonight, I managed to score 380 million on The Pirates, then with the extra ball I had earnt I boosted it up to just under 604 million. I am now happy with my total sum of both tables being over 1 billion So far I have spent 2 days on each table, with about 10 hours play on each. I have a good idea how most of the bonus games work and can start enjoying playing the game now. Mean Machines: 679,168,200 The Pirate: 603,708,630 Total: 1,282,876,830 |

Nearly a week in and we really could do with more people taking part in this to keep the competition interesting. Here's my first efforts.

I had a monster run this morning on The Pirate, with 1 extra ball (nearly 2 - I had extra ball lit but lost my last ball before I could collect it ), a x50 combo and a x6 bonus multiplier that helped me score over 1 billion points. I also managed to play all of the bonus games (knife thowing, walk the plank etc.), but didn't complete them all.

Just a reminder that this round ends on Saturday night and if you want any chance to take part in the subsequent games you need to play this one first.
The more players who enter, the more who qualify for the next stage, so it's certainly worth having a go. |

Mean Machines - 1,346,848,950
The Pirate - 1,237,500,610 Total - 2,584,349.560 Yeh.. I don't like my chances next round either. I found a nice trick with Slam Tilt though.. play it like you don't care and magic will happen. Had 2 attempts on mean machines and only 1 on the pirate |

Oh, come on. Those videos were uploaded in March! I'm sure you are aware that any scores must be achieved within the timeframe of that particular round.

Great advice Ed!
A monster run on Mean Machines: 3 extra balls earnt, several multiballs (speed) and various bonus games (F1, Drag Race etc.) helped me score over 2 billion. Mean Machines: 2,002,775,310 The Pirate: 1,182,311,850 Total: 3,185,087,160 |

Last day of this round folks. Quick reminder that the more people take part, the more make it through to the next stage. In this case, one more person submitting a score means 12 qualify for the next round.
