I really do hope they won't do any legal action against such a project, that would be so ridiculous.

It looks awesome, but I'll indeed rather invest the money in a Pi-400 More versatile solution than cramming every nook and cranny of your living room full of mini devices.

The only mini I would like to have at this point is the pc-engine mini.

Which is fully emulated on Pi400 or MiSTer FPGA - so what's the point?

People here are litterally paying moutains of money to buy spare Amiga parts but a brand new plug and play Amiga solution with pad, mouse, modern connection solution, legit OS and software, easily expandable for 129€ would be expansive ?
If the release a version with a fonctionnal keyboard for less than 200€ it will be by far the best and cheaper solution to go back in the Amiga experience, not matter what's inside (as if people they want to sell this were aware of what was inside an old Amiga...)

The Minis are not meant as the best solution for emulating the given machine. They are mostly for casuals, impulse buyers, collectors, etc (and of course scalpers, these days).

add a mouse, a pad, a legit Amiga OS solution, not sure this would be cheaper Not to say that you have to configure it, which isn't that simple for someone that was out of (or never been in) the Amiga world for a long time.

The point is that I want it, of all he minis it is actually the one that is done properly. Cool looking device, exceptional built-in game lineup.

I wonder whether it will be possible to boot into AmigaOS similar to how its possible to drop into basic with the thec64?

In a perfect world the Amiga parties would have all worked together to make this possible. perhaps implementing 3.2, with some creative software, it could have been an ideal entry point for new users without having to spending insane amounts of money on old hardware.

Imho, a CD32 Mini would make more sense than the A500 Mini (regarding no keyboard).
