Floppy disk Wireless TCP Printing with Gurumodem

Hello all,

Do you have a Gurumodem (wireless serial modem) and wonder what you can do with it beyond BBS, FTP, WGET, file transfer to SD-card, etc..?

Well, if you have the latest firmware (3.6+ I think), you can also print to a network printer through a CUPs server wirelessly.

Tested on everything from an A2K on up. It's not super well documented, so the way you do it is this:

1. In Workbench, configure a PS Printer Driver through the Serial port, at whatever baud rate your modem is configured to by default.
2. Use a term program to set up your CUPs URL using AT+PRINTA:<host>:<port>/<path>
(then type a few characters, and use +++ when finished, or just wait for a timeout)
3. If your test page comes out ok, save the settings with AT&W

That's it -- you can print from workbench now.

Enjoy!
