Associate music app with cd icon
When I insert an audio cd into my cd drive, I get 2 icons coming up, the first is CD2:uninitialised (presumably as no data is showing up), the second is CD2:cdda. I can play the music vis EasyAcdda, but what I would like is to be able to start EasyAcdda by (double) clicking on the cd2:cdda icon.
Is there any way to do this, or will it mess up when I use a non music cd if I do that? Also, is there a quick way to soft eject the cd via menu - I have it set on the right click menu so that when I click eject, the eject button comes up and I have to click that, and then close it, but it would be better to just click eject and be done with it. The specs of my system are as per my signature. Cheers C. |

CDDA handling depends on the CD file system used. For CacheCDFS check Prefs/CacheCDFS (OS 3.9) resp. Prefs/CDFSPrefs (IDEfix). For other file systems: RTFM.
There are several eject programs on Aminet. IDEfix even contains two. I am sure that there is one which ejects the CD immediately without a button. |

Cheers Thomas.
I have tried both the ones with IDEFIX97. The simple ejectCD one is a bit weird in that if i run it by clicking on it, it opens a little window with a button, and clicking on that then eject the disc. If I run it from a command line and specify the unit, it says "not a dos disk" and errors. The other one you have to drag the disc icon over it. If I could get the command line one to work that would sort it. |

Try this: http://os4depot.net/index.php?functi...ench/eject.lha (68k version is included)
It opens the CD drive by double click if you configure the tooltypes accordingly. |

Absolutely perfect!
Works a treat - I have it on my right click menu. Thank you. |
