Many thanks for all your work @Akira!
One question, how do games that require a save disk (for saving) work in this setup, anyone know? I remember from back in the day, that many games had save functions that required save disks |

Many thanks for that pack Akira. A couple of remarks : First, if one doesn't read the whole thread, the 2.1 update can go unnoticed. Secondly, I would recommend to run the batch file RUNMEFIRST not from the desktop but from the root of a HDD partition. Also, it must be understood that the setslots command ought to alter the config file (HXCSDFE.CFG) on the USB flash drive. Might be a good idea to copy a fresh config file there before running the script. To check if the changes have been implemented, open said file with your favorite text editor. The script is supposed to read the game list (slots_hxc.txt) locally, games missing from the pool of slots can be added there beforehand e.q. starting with 999. Since I too ran into ransom1122 issue, I though my humble feedback would prove useful. If you wonder why I needed a ready-to-use Gotek game pack, it's because the included 16 GB flash drive got borked last night (no biggie, seller probably chose cheapest brand to save on costs).

Hello all,
Years have passed and technology moved on. The motivation to make this list was mainly due to frustration with the Cortex and HxC firmwares of several years back, but now the game has changed completely and this pack is due a big update supporting FlashFloppy only. I'm gonna work on the pack and update here when it's done. Meanwhile, my uploads folder on the FTP is now of public access again (thanks Ian and Turran!), so all the files are again available for everyone to get form the FTP. but if you wait a bit you can get the updated collection. |

Are you aware of any batch file type approach of allocated ADFs to the slots or is it a manual approach one at a time. I found this page online which is has a link to to great collection however very painful allocating one at a time.. I was hoping someone has been clever and worked out how to covert say a list from Excel or a txt file into the config file for Flashfloppy. https://www.retro32.com/gaming/amiga...ds-flashfloppy |

Nobody should use the list mode anymore. It's antiquated and shit. |
