F17 Challenge v1.1 "KillerGorilla Edition
 " crashes with Exception "Illegal Instruction" ($10) at $80000 occured." just before the main menu.I reinstalled the game from the ipf images and problem was solved. |

What archive date? I have no problems with KG's install, archive is dated 18.09.2006.

Mule muffins, that's odd.
Mine's exactly the same.  I even redownloaded the game and tried that. The damn thing just wouldn't work until I reinstalled it myself. Something fishy is going on.
