unable to access d3d filters

hi sorry about this,

but... am a little confused, since 2.0.1 I was able to access d3d plugins via the filter settings,

now since 2.1x-2.2x even tho i have selected the d3d setting in misc settings, they are no longer available...

is there somthing i am missing?

i have tried 2 machines a phenom 4x machine w/ 8gb mem and 4800 ati g/card running win7

and the machine i am wanting to run it on an ion 330 w/ 4gb mem w/win xp and win 7

none of the installs of winuae 2.1x and 2.2x allow me to access the d3d filters

usually under filters section i have a long list of d3d filters, but now all i have is just a few ah la dosbox eagle,hq/2/3 e.t.c

any advice would be very cool..

cheers

Under plugins, create a masks directory for the filters. Move your current filters to that directory.

Only to be sure: you've downloaded the latest filtershaders.zip and copied the "plugins" folder (with subfolders) into your WinUAE folder?

If it doesn't work: Make sure that "Direct3D" is selected in Miscellaneous -> Graphics API.

hmm this is very odd, both machines have been updated (again), now one works fine - the phenom II - but the ion 330, which i want it to run on, doesn't....

go figure.

anyways it works

thankyou very much.

You probably need 2.3 winuae betas if display card is not advanced enough. Check winuaebootlog.txt for warning messages (start winuae, open filter panel, close winuae, open winuaebootlog.txt)
