Fantastic port. The graphics are gorgeous, the mouse controls are exact and smooth. Saving into flash of course is included.
And with a C128 it's maybe the best version of EOB. You can use a dual monitor setup for automapping. [ Show youtube player ] |

Breath taking
If I've had this on my C64, I'd played it to death, and would try to discover all the secrets, and everything the game world have to offer. |

Can you play this with a mouse and freemove the pointer?
Or is the pointer moved by the arrow keys after pressing F1? |

Tried Pressing F1 for Mouse Driver 1351 (Acc) & 1351 (No Acc). Vice has a windows pointer that doesnt function as a C64 mouse? |

You can connect an Amiga mouse to the C64, but it needs a different driver routine to process the input. Some programs might have support for it, and I guess that's why it is there in VICE. But usually the 1351 is the supported one. |

I tried Mouse (1351) with WinVice 3.5 64Bit, and smouse will not work?
Updated vice to 3.6.1, and same issue. Can someone screenshot there control setting in vice. If i double click mouse the window chagend from full screen to window mode. so mouse is behaving like a windows mouse not c64 mouse Last edited by ransom1122; 22 November 2022 at 11:52. |

Played the game for a bit and it is very impressive for a C64 game. Especially the music is amazing Edit: Here's a screenshot of the settings window: Afterwards I use 'Alt + M' to capture the mouse. |

Was never impressed by these games on the Amiga, just a bit of tartting up and fluff on top of the 100% Atari ST only quality Dungeon Master. There was no improvement to the "real time" graphic engine, very very underwhelming.
However, fitting this into something like the C64 so well deserves praise. This is better than what would have been made at the time so whether you like the game or not it still deserves praise. Unless it needs an REU like those other lame conversions. |
