Never heard before of an Amiga conversion of Hammering Harry and Bubble Bobble 3 (maybe Parasol Stars?)... |

Parasol stars I believe is already on the Amiga. Hammering harry isn't though. I personally didn't think they'd think of porting it either. But then they apparently started work on snow bros and liquid kids.

you wrote 'That game' in the zone, as if the actual name was "top-secret" (), but left the original name in the zip anyway! Doh! |

nah, it wouldn't have been Bubble Symphony or Bubble Memories because those games are too recent. Good guess though
It was probably just the code-name for Parasol Stars. |

There is a long story about the cronogical Bubble Bobble Series.
For example, Parasol Stars don't even exists as Coin-op (although seems to exist a prototype), and someone called it Bubble Bobble 3 only for his similarity to the other two predecessors, in this way it was more easy to identify the game. On the advert scan of Parasol Stars and in the main screen, you can read clearly "The story of Rainbow Islands 2". For many people Rainbow Island was Bubble Bobble 2, and so... This until Taito released the REAL coin op of Bubble Bobble 2 and 3 (Bubble Memories) |

Check M.A.M.E list. They have enough information about arcade versions and sequels of Bubble Bobble.

Also ... Hammerin' Harry (mentioned above) was previewed along with Liquid Kids and Snow Bros in Zero #19, all 3 slated for Christmas 1991 release. So, 2 down 1 to go? Can up a scan if anyone is interested. Last edited by Galaxy; 10 April 2006 at 14:24. |

dlfrsilver,
On aGTW wesbite, http://agtw.abime.net/images/AmigaPower_2.jpg , there is mention that it was released in France. Was it released for the ST as I'm not aware that it ever came out for the Amiga? |
