Favorite Amiga "Gory" Game?
Right I only know of 2 hence the 2 options above. If you know any more add them to your reply.
My personell favorite is Barbarian, the chance to lop someones head off, at the time I found it greatly amusing, the lovely thuding noise the head makes hitting the floor .... Ooh I've got chills just thinking about it |

Barbarian rocked. I loved chopping guys head off. Remember he sound effect the guy would make when he prepared for the fatal chop. Something like 'kee- ya! And then the commentator guy would go 'Ha ha ha', and then that music would set in. Classic.

I dunno if it would be classed as gory, but I loved the animations in BattleChess.
Pure class and one of the better EA games. |

Here's one that everyone tends to forget when discussing gory games: Creatures. Twisted stuff, this! And we cannot forget Techno-Cop and Mortal Kombat.
And if we wanna delve into the PD world, there's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (not graphic, but it's the thought that counts!), Schoolyard Slaughter, and a sick pair of text adventures, Bleed - A Journey Through Violence and its sequel Bleed II. And there's a bit of gore in the Zombie Apocalypse series, as well. |

Gloom
Has everyone forgot Gloom and Gloom Deluxe. Turn on the messy option and it's quite gruesome with arms and heads and legs flying everywhere. They also stay on the floor. Nice.
Now if you're talking about gruesome animations then how about the suicide man series. I also love other Paul Henderson anims such as Golfers Guide (very funny) and 3 Ways to Stop Smoking. |

I don't know if the admins will come in here and add a couple of options. My favorite game which featured a lot of blood would be Moonstone, but if nothing is done to the poll I would most definately go with Barbarian. That was a really funny game too.

Man, Twist, you stole my thunder
Without a doubt, Texas Chainsaw is the BEST gory amiga game, PD or commercial. The simplicity, the premise..to kill as many as possible so that you can extend the killing time, is pure beauty. The game, and the movie, have a special place in my heart. Gotta love those little pools of blood and guts once a victim is... "shaved" |

Ouch. I never played Texas Chainsaw Massacre, so my top has to go to Moonstone, with Barbarian a close second. Remember getting impaled by creatures carrying long pikes? Remember cutting these guys in half, and hearing a gallon of blood splashing on the ground? Or what about stabbing them, and watching a crimson fountain erupt from their corpse?
How about getting crushed by an evil swamp creature's tendrils or fried by an angry dragon? But the one on one confrontations with other knights were Moonstone's best feature, as blood would be everywhere, and it didn't dissappear! Methinks there was also a finishing decapitation move in these situations, also. :kill |

yeah, those small things were funny to kill. I didn't like the swamp thing though. I really didn't like the way it would drag you down if you weren't fast.

Oh, that bloody dragon! By PURE CHANCE, I killed it once. I got just in front of his ugly mug and made many holes in his chin, or something like that He just died!
Never again I managed to do it, so I Suppose it was either pure luck or a bug. |

Wank...
It's a bit shitty that you can't change your vote. I only voted for Barbarian because Moonstone wasn't on the list at the time.
So when you're looking at the votes, take 1 off Barbarian and add it onto Moonstone... Which makes it 6 - 5 to Barbarian. //RCK: you wish have been granted |
