The scoring system in this game is either screwed or there is some kind of trick for the first end of level boss. I had roughly 20,000 points each time I reached our old friend at the end of the first level but I scored vastly different amounts upon killing him. In one instance I had gone from 20,500 to 100,000 after killing him Then another time I jumped for 21,500 to 55,000 after killing him And to top it off I went from 19,500 to 164,000 after killing him WTF is with this game? |

I finally worked out how to beat the boss at the end of level 1. I got killed by the second giant creature on level 2.

Game over in the middle of Level 2.
Two well placed shots at 1st level boss and you'll get the score. Final score is 133,900. |

How on Earth do you defeat the level one boss? I'm sure I used to be able to do this (many many years ago) but I just can't work out what bit I need to shoot after taking out the top bit.

Actually, I fly out and down to the bottom.
As long as you have the upgrade on the front, it will take the impact from the small flying shots and you won't get destroyed. Take a hit from the big laser from the head and you will get killed. I took him out simply by shooting at the bottom bit which opens up and ignored the head. If you have a full charge (charged twice as mentioned above) you may not even need to shoot at it directly! I gave it another try, I even managed to beat the first guardian but I had less score than already posted. It seems a bit weird. The whole game is very dodgy and I wonder how come it gained such popularity.

I managed a new best score, but only as I ended up with 143,000 after beating the first boss. I also managed to gain an extra life during this attempt too (I think it was for beating level 1 without losing any lives) and confirmed my theory about beating the first boss. As long as you have the weapon power up attached to the front it absorbs the blows from the little shots, so position your craft at the bottom left (with about half a spaceships gap to the bottom floor). Now charge your weapon fully (wait until gauge fills up twice) and fire when the hatch is open (no need to aim directly, the charged shot will do all the work ) - after doing this 3 times he is history I still got killed halfway through the 2nd level though... 175,600 Regards, Lonewolf10 |

Minimal improvement. Got to the level two boss for the first time but I have no idea how to defeat it. Anyone got any tips?
Also you can't really afford to lose a life on that boss... losing all your powerups on that level is a total killer. 118,300 |

Level 2 boss' weak spot is at the top middle between the lasers. You'll need to time your move upward well, and have to go to the far side of the screen for safety when he moves towards you (travel underneath). Not much of an explanation but there's more to it than the first boss.

Classic game ... I won't even bother entering, I couldn't do it without having trainer and infinite lives! (Hey! don't be judgemental :P)
