Games that you wish were released on the Amiga
Back in the day I used to hope that some games would eventually get an Amiga release... For me it was mainly arcade conversions
Below is my list: ... Bomb Jack ... Dig Dug ... Green Beret ... Moon Patrol ... Mr. Do! ... Rastan ... Rygar ... Slap Fight ... Skate or Die! ... Wonderboy These were all on the C64... The Amiga had more than enough power to do great conversions of the above, I wonder why they were never released Any games that you wish had appeared? |

Solomon's Key had an ST port, but not for Amiga. Also I would have enjoyed playing an Amiga port of WindJammers (NeoGeo).

I would have liked to have seen Felix Meets The Evil Weevils on the Amiga. I used to love playing that game on my BBC.

Would have been cool if these games had also been available on the Amiga although some of the games like Descent and Magic Carpet is pushing it to much for the Amiga back then.
Albion 1995 (Great Adventure/RPG but canceled on Amiga!) Woodruff and the Schnibble 1995 ("Goblins4" ) Bermuda Syndrome 1995 (Similar to Flashback) Magic Carpet 1 1994 (Was popular on the PC) The Dig 1995 (Underated adventure by LucasArts) Master of Orion 1 & 2 1993/1996 (Cult status on pc) Settlers 2 1996 (Canceled on Amiga, nooo!) Descent 1 1995 ( Played this game in LAN alot, awesome!) Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat 1995 (one of the hardest games ever but i completed it! ) |

Well, MAME fixed my arcade addiction but back then:
*Streetfighter 2 CE *Strider, Both where great on the megadrive, amiga should have been able to do most of the stuff, especially playability. *IK++ AGA, IK+ has great gameplay. Add 3p and some fancy graphics, the perfect selling sequel. *Super mario bros, I hate to say it, but tight game play, a classic. *Warhawk, just to hear the soundtrack Otoh I just love the fact that we had Lemmings, pinball dreams and a couple of others... every time I see a top 100 games ever list that starts of with 40 SNES games, you know the guy lived in US and never got an amiga. I'm guessing the PCengine guys are laughing their asses off with every "best 8 bit games" as well. Last edited by spiff; 11 May 2007 at 13:27. |
