I updated to 0.5.1 for you =)
* What to download are now check boxes so you can run them all at once if you want.
* Got rid of the splash screen in the middle of the screen. It was just annoying. Reverted back to showing what it does in the cmd window.
* Made the gui a bit more appealing IMO. Added tool tips when you hover over stuff to let you know what they do.
* Added a "donate" button.

If you replace your old exe with this one, your INI file will be deleted and recreated so you'll need to tick all the right boxes again (username and password will be kept, providing you had your password in the old INI). You'll be informed of this so no worries.


You'll find it on the FTP in the \Commodore_Amiga\WHDLoad_Packs as usual

I have a question if someone could have uploaded the whole disk from classicWB & WHDload with games in hdf format so that it would work on WinUae and maybe if it is already ready
I used to have a disk ready 10gb file system.hdf but after the last tragedy I lost everything I had on the disks
I would ask for help

Just an update in case anyone was wondering, the tool still fails with the same error on Linux with Wine 4.4.

So I previously had a whdload library with decompressed and renamed games (to be used with a custom implementation of the whdl loader on a retrogaming distribution) and I decided to upgrade to this eab lha collection.

However, it seems I can't find a few whdl games after using the tool to download the full collection :

Pulsator (Demo)
Mr Men Olympics
Stormball
Discovery - In the Steps of Columbus

Am I dreaming or confused or what ?

Just to let you know : I've downloaded EAB-WHDLoad_Pack_Downloader_0.5.1.zip from the FTP server (or possibly Mega or Google Drive, can't remember as I tried them all), and Windows 10 Defender is reporting a virus (Trojan:Win32/Fuery.B!cl)

(As normally a Mac user, I feel honoured and slightly smug/sarcastic to be getting malware on my Windows 10 VM only 10 minutes after setting it up )

Sounds like a false positive (extremely common situation, let alone from Windows Defender...). Don't believe everything antivirus programs report.

Just downloaded that file from the EAB server and it's perfectly clean.

The inconvenience of having to do this didn't occur to you then? I won't even begin to go into the heavily dated preconceptions that STILL permeate amongst the cult.
Don't worry, not looking to start a playground fight. I am aware that a MacBook is still the best solution for networking engineers and such. Too bad they have to put up with... resist the urge!!

Ha, I'll poke the bear. I never felt one way or the other about macs/Apple until I was forced to use one for work (Linux guy here). I hate the damn thing :P Now granted it IS a toss up of which annoys me more, Windows or macOS. But at least with Windows they don't require at least two weeks to recover your account...some people online were saying it took them 6 months to be able to recover their AppleID.

Wget should work fine with FTP links.


English filter is just a REGEXP. If the file includes

"_(Cz|De|Dk|Es|Fi|Fr|Gr|It|Pl|Se)(\.|_)"

Then its not considered english.

Wget does it all on its own. No fancy scripts required. For example something like this should work:

wget -nH --cut-dirs=2 -m --reject-regex '_(Cz|De|Dk|Es|Fi|Fr|Gr|It|Pl|Se)(\.|_)' ftp://yourusername:yourpassword@grandis.nu/Commodore_Amiga/Retroplay/Commodore_Amiga_-_WHDLoad_-_Games/

If your run this regularly from the same dir, you should alway be up to date without re-downloading every time.
(I haven't fully tested this. I don't do wget. I clone Retroplay's mega.nz )

Perhaps update to
