Lightbulb Passengers On The Wind 2?

It happened to notice that Andy mentioned that he owns Passengers On The Wind 2 in his legendary Andy's Amiga Rarities site.

Is there anyone who has more info about this request?

PS: I think that the exact title should be Passengers of Wind if you take the exact translation of the french edition Passagers Du Vent in english. In TOSEC Dats it is reffered as Passengers on the Wind.

Cody, what do you think about that?

I'm not Cody (), but I think that Passengers ON THE wind could easily be misunderstood as "Passengers sailing on the wind". In German it's "am Wind segeln", which is a *regularized* manner of sailing, i. e. turning the sail to a certain position. But that is NOT meant here.
Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your contribution Andreas, but I think that the German version was Reisende Im Wind, which I think that it means the same think.

Doesn't it? (I haven't the slightest idea about German )

No, it doesn't.
Reisende im Wind would be Passengers in the wind.

passengers in the wind

Well the name, the company seems to have chosen is "passengers on the wind" according to this title screen. Do you need this game sci-fi or did you say it was in tosec?

Looking at this screenshot though, i was wondering whether it was one of those homemade translations.

I replaced the image you posted with a more reasonably sized version...931 pixels wide was a bit much.

Well, I started the thread as a request for Passengers on the Wind 2 (if it exists)... but after my remark on the title we finally ended up using our linguistics knowledge!

By the way, nice quote Andreas (meaning the small turn from the poem)!!

You're welcome This is a pop song. I often do this, because this way I have a context to make someone understand the usage a bit better.

@Warlock
I think you're right. Looks like a text inserted with Deluxe Paint.
And the orange-colored font is available from the FONTS folder of Workbench 1.3.

It exists for the Atari St. If you want it in the zone, just say so

Andreas: I think you are correct in re: Font of title. Here is the Atari St opening title and it looks different.
Ich denke das, du stimmt bist.

Doubtful. Atari ST is not Amiga!
And if Atari ST version used this font, it can always happen that the Amiga version uses a different one anyway, even by design! (publisher-wise)

In any case, its a neat game, but the interface is a bit clunky. I love these adventure games. My god, how they tower over the mindless garbage out there now.

Stick out tongue Heheh...

... but this is just one game!

What you uploaded are Disk 1 and Disk 2 of "Passengers On The Wind". Booting from disk 2 results in a prompt for disk 1 after starting the game.
Sorry to spoil the party again.
