Amikit/Scala libs problem
Hello all again
I have just reinstalled amikit and created a couple of dirs as virtual hdd's One is to install apps into. When installing scala mm300 i get an error saying install failed, not enough space to install scala lib into. The amikit hdf is 4gb (0ver 2gb free space) The dirs (as I understood it were dynamic and expanded as required - please correct me if I am wrong) Any ideas what I need to do to get Scala back up and running? Thanks |

Old programs might see everything above 2GB as negative and thus smaller than anything.
Check the installation script's default tool. If it points to a seperate copy of the Installer program, let it point to Sys:Utilities/Installer instead. |

It is for this reason I would like to have a rather small SYS: and WORK: partition (<100MB for sys, <1GB for Work) so I don't have to worry about things like this happening. Happily ignorant me ^^
All other partitions are usually around 8GB but ai only ever copy on and off, I never install onto them |
