UAE. Not enough memory or rom paths not found

Good week end everybody. Excuse my poor English

Using WinUae is terrific for me. I'm using A 1200 since 20years and any problems. Never and never. Using WinUAE and problems are raining hard.
Murakami is a French developer offering about 2000 games made for WHDLoad.
Using WHD Load on A 1200 and all games works perfectly.
Using WHDLoad with WinUEA any game works. I tryed only 5. Not 2000. The same i use on my A 1200.
Talking about that with Murakami.
He does not own PC and all his games are made for Amiga.
he can't help me. May be here. ?
2 kinds of problemes impossible to resolve...for me

Not enough memory.
Using A 1200 = 2 Mo basic + 8 Mo extension card. All's fine
Using WinUae.= 2 Mo Chip 8 Mo fast.
Either 10 Mo Chip. Either autoconfig fast ram. Same thing.
All my 2 Mo or so games working on A 1200 does not work on WinUAE. Extended memory not found.

Other things . Grrrrr !

All my games WHDLoad does not work because that
I read 3 topics very attentively. Several times.

Object not found. Dev:kickstarts /kick40068 etc....

What about kickstarts inside Dev ? Kickstarts are set in ROMS drawer, not in Dev.
This kickstart A 1200 is in Roms Path main
In Dev I made a drawer kickstarts. Why in DEV I wonder !!!
I put the A 1200 ks inside. Path not found

Other game. Dungeon master.
It needs rom 34005 for A 500
System rom settings 500 1.3 etc...as Main ks.
I include this kickstart inside dev:kickstarts and path not found.
These games does not fin the ks.

I started computing 27 years ago. Zenith, C 64, Atari, Amiga 1200, Windows 95 98 98SE NT and XP
A bit of Assembler 68.000 Motorola, Basic GFA, PC DOS, C ++, Visual Basic, Linux red hat. .
I'm not an expert but absolutely not a newbee.
I always read notices, topics and Guides.
I have never met a soft like Winuae.
And about adf games I do no write about saves floppies. Other problem I met. But less important. To see later.
Nothing works immediately.

What about this fucking soft ? Sorry to be very nervous.
Never met a thing like that during 27 years long using computers.

These questions are the last ones. If WinUAE does not work correctly with HDLoad games ( memory and rom paths) I uninstall it definitively. Obliged.

And I repeat and repeat. I read 10 times the tutorials.
Abime, Emu Nova and Nameworld. Absolutely nothing about these
stressing malfunctions.

Thanks a lot.

Your best bet would be to buy AmigaForever. It works out of the box and has legal roms and workbench disks. There are a variety of hard drive setups to choose from and a selection of pre installed games to try.

It's not a problem with WinUAE or WHDLoad, they're working fine. The fault is entirely on your part because you're not using the software correctly.

To get WHDLoad working, create the directory Devs:Kickstarts, and in there you place the 1.3 and 3.1 Kickstart ROMs and rename them kick34005.A500 and kick40068.A1200 respectively. You also need the accompanying .RTB files placed there, which you can find in the SKick package on Aminet.

Amiga for ever = 30 €. Why not !
Is it a soft like WinUae ? To install on PC ?
30 € is not a probleme. I can spend more.
But a problem is possible.

Il have a lot of exe Amiga left Home by my sons. 20 years ago.
Stocked on CD. All, absolutely all the exe games are DMS or LHa ou LZH games, Warez.
Using recent games I prefer PC. My sons too.
Un Amiga or an emulotor is necessary only to run old or very old games.
My newest game is 18 years old.
My floppyes since 18 years are quite out of working.
I would only use my old dms and lha games stocked in 10 CD. 18 years old too theses CD. Only compiles.

ALL unofficials of course And a lot of floppies installers. Installers are not able to work using not cracked softs.

Is Amiga for ever able to work easily using CiV1 adf or Civ1.dms ?
Able to work using UFO installed with WHD Load....without floppies ?

I will try to get infos about that.
Thanks.

Are you asking of Amiga Forever will allow you to run all your pirated Amiga games? For shame!

However, I'm sure they will mostly work fine

I'm very sorry but about WHD load something is still wrong

I read that

Additionally a relocation file with the extension .RTB matching the kickstart image must be present. This relocation file can be found on aminet in the archive util/boot/skick346.lha. Both files, the kickstart image and the relocation file must be located in the directory Devs:Kickstarts/ and must have the correct name.

You answer: need the accompanying .RTB files placed there
OK kick40068.a1200.rtb inside

In devs:kickstarts there is ( found in the pack skick346.lha)

kick40068.a1200.rtb
kick40068.a1200.pat
allockick
kickstat
skick
skickona1200

Always the same erreur. Kickstart not found

I included inside Kickstarts the whole content of skick346.lha but only the 2 files pat and rtb for A 1200.
For A 500 later.

What il the missing file ?

Thanks a lot. Very sorry.

You also need the actual kick40068.a1200 file there. Please re-read the instructions carefully.

Try to make sure that the file you use has these checksums:
Code:
name "Kickstart v3.1 r40.68 (1993)(Commodore)(A1200)[!].rom" size 524288 crc 1483a091 md5 646773759326fbac3b2311fd8c8793ee sha1 e21545723fe8374e91342617604f1b3d703094f1

That's not an A1200 ROM, it's an A4000 ROM. It is 40.68, but that doesn't help since it's not an A1200 ROM.
