So many games, What do i play??
Hello all,
Ive got a bit of a dilema, Because i have nearly every single amiga game installed on my real 1200 i never know what game to play and always play 1 for about 5 minutes and then move on to another one, i cant remember the last time i actually finished a game. So i thought id set myself a little challange and ask my fellow E.A.B'ers "What game should i play?" Once i have 3 games recommended i will then pick one and hammer that game untill i finish it and will post regular updates throughout my session. Im coffied up and ready to go so fire away. This is the problem i cant see a game through especially one with 60 odd thousand levels, Lets change this slightly, Everyone please recommend a game that i could complete tonight, i like platformers, beat em ups, adventures (i.e Lucusarts stuff) , strategy.
Just started another world Again!! I always go back to the same games. Last edited by DanE; 24 September 2006 at 02:27. |

While you're at it can you map the levels and also note down all door codes, planet positions etc |

Games like Captive, even though they are very good, take way too much time and life away There are so many games to list here, one could take all night. What else is good fun: ... Flashback ... IK+ ... It Came From The Desert ... Ivan "Ironman" Stuarts Super Off Road ... Pang ... Panza Kick Boxing ... Super Cars ... The Three Stoogers ... Toki |

I remember when i 1st got flashback, I ordered if from N.F.A i sent some cash to a p.o box somewhere in Hereford i think and about a week later i recieved a package with 4 disks but once i got past the intro screen the amiga would crash so i sent the disks back and it happened again so i sent them back and it happened again, this time i took them to my mates house and it worked perfectly, Turned out that this cracked version wouldnt work on my A600 and my mate had a 500. untill a newer version came out i had to skip to level 2 and it worked from there. |

...and the list goes on and on. I think for me there's probably about 500-600 "classic" Amiga games. |

My challenge to you is Lionheart.
If you havent played or finished this game, then by all means do so!. Its a game that just gets better and better right through, and it will keep you in awe of its beautiful graphics. I liked the joke someone made about Captive though .. hehehe .. I played it for about 6 months solid and i too was trying to finish it back then until i gave up. Little did i realise back then, that it had so many levels. I dont know what Tony Crowther was thinking when making a game that big? .. Same with Liberation.. nice game but too big. |
