WHDLoad Sim City MMU = Access Fault

Hi all,

I have an v3.1 A1200 with Blizzard 1230 MK4 and Indivision AGA MK2cr.

When I run SimCity 1.2 (& 512kB) version via WHDLoad it throws me an Access Fault, see image, when I have MMU enabled in WHDLoad.prefs.

It runs fine when I comment it out.

Is there a way to have only SimCity disable the MMU when loading the game?

Try NoMMU as tooltype, but read first.

Thx! The tooltype is a text configuration file like Whdload.prefs in the game drawer? Simply called tooltype? Currently not in reach of my a1200.

OK, I figured out what tooltypes are Wasn't aware of them as a nice AmigaOS feature

Unfortunately it doesn't work, adding NoMMU in the tooltype of the slave still gives me that error. Commenting out MMU in WHDLoad.prefs still has it working.

However I found a workaround. The error only pops up when I start a new city, it doesn't when I select a scenario. And after selecting a scenario starting a new city works

But then... I ran in a problem that has been known I see. I can't save games Running the game directly from HDD doesn't solve it either because then it runs the uncracked version with manual questions copy protection. I used to have a sheet of paper for that back in my A500 days, but no clue whether I still have it.
