Some AGA favorites I play lately
I have to admit there aren't that many great AGA games. However, I have some favorites I play once in a while:
Slamtilt Pinball by 21st Century Entertainment: Possibly the best pinball game on Amiga imho; Super Stardust by Bloodhouse: AGA update of an Asteroids game. The music is great; Tin Toy Adventure by Mutation: A platformgame very similar to Doodlebug; Fightin' Spirit by NEO: Beautiful beat 'em up which is everything Streetfighter 2 should have been on Amiga. |

Hmm, I can't think of that many. Checking my archive folder of favourites, it's heavily A500 games.
However Super Stardust and Xtreme Racing (only true Mario Kart clone for Amiga) stuck out as brilliant graphics for their time. |

Sleepwalker AGA. Dunno if it deserves the "Best AGA Game" stamp, but I kinda liked it.

Just a question : Civilization AGA - is really 256 color version, or AGA means that is working on AGA chipset ?

I think it's 256 colours. I know there's a couple of extra features at least, like moving water.

Fire&Ice is nice on AGA, is the same as ECS with extra parallax with pictures.
Virocop was nice on AGA, but I never really seen the ECS version, Im sure is also very good. One of the more deceiving is JamesPondIII, why is this AGA?? Im surprised theres no ECS version. |

a). I am not being an asshole, I was stating what you said in another thread and nothing more (you have not stated in that thread you actually like the game now.. have you??) b). I read the question perfectly thanks, and I assumed you was slating Star Trek in another thread, I wasn't criticising your favourites just pointing out a contradiction My sincere apologies if I offended you, it was not meant to be! My fave aga games: Xtreme Racing Pinball Illusions Slamtilt Pinball In all honesty I don't think there were many games that pushed the AGA chipset and much, much better games could have been achieved!! |

Shame on you Bippy! Such a nice polite reply to being called an asshole is against this boards rules!
