I was looking at VirtualBox too but as you said it's no easy task and what Linux variant do you use? I wonder can this be done on a Raspberry pi?

In my case, I created the 2.35 roms by using Windows Subsystem for Linux on Windows 10 with Ubuntu as distro.
It was good, because I have taken the opportunity of installing Amitools as well. |
