Awesome WHDLoad
Hallo,
I'm trying to play Awesome but as I found out you can't use the second joystick button for the radial disruptor or landing on the other levels. I looked at the manual and it uses spacebar for these functions, is there a version of Awesome that has support for a second joystick button? My Amiga is too far away from me to push the space bar. Sorry if this has been asked before. Thank you for WHDLoad. |

Wepl did the patch for this game so you'd best ask him.
Although it looks like Psygore did the patch for the Awesome demo he has always been helpful in this kind of area, So maybe he would be willing to help you. I do agree the game would play better if spacebar was mapped to joyfire2 due to the frantic gameplay and how hard the game already is. |

I can take a look, but it will need some time to support it (3 versions to adapt).

Psygore to the rescue!
BTW Psygore - since you have 'expertise' in this field. Any ideas regarding North & South on emulation. It appears if you are playing 2 players over the net for example, then the controllers don't work correctly for one of the players. |

From memory it is like this: Joystick and Left Shift for Player 1 Arrow Keys, Space Bar and Right Shift for Player 2 The Shift Key is for infantry change and Space Bar is for fire. Ideally the game should control like the NES version for both players. |
