Nice system, feels like everything you need is in there...just missing a network card.
SCSI would would have been nice too...an Amiga without SCSI is like eating spaghetti without any sauce

I like the fact that you showed all those cool pictures, that way there´s no discussion and the buyer or bidder knows exactly what he wants to get

Pictures doesn't mean anything. So, give me a £££. You must know how much you want for the system. You bought it so you must know the price. On eBay they go from £20 to £~ . Come on..

As I know what the reserve price is, I would almost be willing to bet my main A4000 setup that the system isn't going to be sold. The seller is simply asking to much, but some people have to much cash every now and then, so you will never know.

Stop posting in these threads if you don't like what is being sold or the seller..

I'll post simply my own opinions. Marketplace is useful to every one of us.
Posting ebay links to auctions is also ok. Directly selling stuff here is also nice given that you post the price you want.

Only thing that could annoy me would be inactive/zero posters trying to auction their goods here, without specifying a price and turning the forum system into an auction "engine" This isn't the case here, happens sometimes but come on, marketplace forum exists for our own good. You can't get screwed here because you're not dealing with "total" strangers, you can expose their actions in return. And as a seller, you're more likely to find serious buyers here.

May I suggest the following to be set as rules for this forum?
-only members with minimum x amount of posts can buy or sell
-no threads without auction links or set prices (no "how much would you pay for this" threads)
-no post editing
-you can only create marketplace threads once in your x amount of posts or once in x period of time.

One thing we don't want to see should be price-pumping threads and members whose posts are made in the marketplace section %80 of the time. Although this one looks like a legit thread with no apparent reason for Methanoid to criticise, the big picture says that martin could something about the low amount of his on topic posts. I'm not annoyed in any case but the respect you show to the community determines the respect you earn in return (not in terms of justice or some other ambigious judgemental concept, but this is how it works). Again, I wouldn't be the one showing disrespect if someone prefers to be a marketplace monkey 100% of the time... oops I just did

Happy

Pxscroll : I agree with three of your four suggestions, except the "-no threads without auction links or set prices (no "how much would you pay for this" threads)" one. Personally I have no problem with that but I know there are always new people with very limited knowledge of their old Amiga hardware that apear to ask advice to people that "are not strangers"

I didn't mean asking for the ideal price an item could be sold for, I were talking about auctioning items right here.

Why don't they search eBay,AmiBench etc. than they know how much is worth.
I can understand if they don't know what they are selling and ask for advice. That's ,in my opinion, is alright.

If that is you than plesae go to doctor and after recovery please read my auction descryption again!
For the future - before you do something, think first than do it.
Your problem is that you are doing something first and after thay you are thinking.

No, that's not me. I sold some items to that person as you can see on the feedback side.
Anymore accusation!
