Hmm looks like a ripoff? He is showing pictures for ROBOCOD there saying it's fred the fish or some such shit. He also has AMC, which is , AFAIK, by Jeff minter.
Can anybody clarify this up? Is this guy full of it? |

He seems to have used the James Pond graphics to make his PD game The Adventures of Freddy Fish and Attack Of The Mutant Camels looks like a version of Minter's Revenge Of The Mutant Camels (or whatever it's called).

Strange how such stuff isn't sued considering that James Pond is an active title.

that's a blatant ripoff alright. I can't see why he thought of slipping through it, considering how famous James Pond is among amigans.

Well I don't consider it a rip-off, it's only a hobby, he never sold it. Just seems like he coded a game and needed some sprites and they were easily available.

i dont c it to be a problem he said he made the game for his daughter or some shit. he's used sprites from all sorts of games by the looks of things.
i dont know why he didnt just let her play the real james pond though i consider that attack of the mutant camels game too much of a ripoff. the james pond one for me was tolerable but come on really i dont see why either games were made when the originals are fine as they are. |

Do someone remember the Game Series "Crackers Revenge" on the good old Commodore 64?
This Games were completely desigend by using ripped Grafix and Sprites and Sounds. Well, I think, if he like to modify games, and when they won't become commercial, why not ? |
