Ok, NOW it's come back again. Any story behind this?
I happened to download the DJ Mike release the first time before it got pulled, out of interest. |

It probably had a small bug which is now fixed. This happened to me with one of my installs because I'm new to WHDLoad.

There was some disagreement over my doing a complete rewrite of this install (and "disregarding" Dark Angel's old code). Basically my argument was that the original install should never have been released - clearly nobody ever played the game properly because you couldn't have done for more than 10 minutes! Your character would slow to a crawl and the game would be one huge frustration to play!
Anyway, all has been resolved now and this install should work 100% for everybody :-) |

Good question. If old code can be proved "crap", there's no doubt it must be ditched. Quality should be the first aim, not "preserving traditions"
Great work DJMike. |

Basically Bert's take on things is that all developers who contribute to the history of an install should be credited alongside its entry on the site.
While I can appreciate that side of things, essentially that gives Dark Angel an equal credit when his install was never really playable in the first place. I'm not putting down his work on other installs - he's done some good ones - which really begs the question of why this one was so poorly tested. Anyway, regardless of some credit on a website, you all have access to the best possible version of Wiz'n'Liz now :-) I'd prefer my work speak for itself before my name. |
