Save state
Hi
I´m using WinUAE Emulator. I´m trying to use GfxRip to look at the graphics. In the text file with GfxRip I am told that the SaveState files muust not be compressed. How do I configure that in WinUAE Emulator and how is it set by default? Keli |

Hi hrafnkellg and welcome to EAB
When you save the state you can select the filetype. Select 'Uncompressed' in the save file dialog. |

I a complete novice!
Thanks for your answear but I must be doing something wrong. I´m using WinUAE 8.22. When I´m playing a game I press F12 - choose Misc and press Save Current State. The Dialogue Windows allows me to save as *.uss or all files. Where do I choose the compression? In the help file it says :
"Save Curent State You can now save or load a Save State which will save memory to a disk file (.USS) and reload it later. Ideal for saving the current state of an Amiga game which does not allow to save itself and so you can restore from that position later. Press Home and F5 to load the Save State Dialog box." Home and F5 do not work for me. Thanks for your time! Keli |

You really need to update WinUAE. You use an ancient version. I will upload the latest version to the zone since WinUAE.net is down right now. Have a look here how to access the zone : http://eab.abime.net/faq.php?faq=vb_...ezone_faq_item
