I know that's a first world problem but with my little daughter taking up much of my time (love her to bits) it's hard for me to find time.

Looks absolutely fantastic!!

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but this is the link to the adf:

I found the time to try it out and I must say this is a very impressive game! Thank you again for gracing the miggy with such great software in these troubled times!

Even though I am not familiar with the arcade, I found the collision detection suspect in a lot of places, as mentioned by other people.

Any chance for an autofire option for us that don't want to destroy our fingers/joysticks? :P

Pink: is there any place where we can find all the final versions of Tiny games together for download? Seems they are scattered around the www. Can you put them all or links to them to Abyss website for example, please?

Or am I blind?

I took the liberty of uploading Tinyus, TinyInvaders and TinyGalaga WHDLoad versions complete with a png image for iGame and icons.
I hope not to go against the forum rules, in which case please excuse me and remove the uploaded files.

Hi. Tinyus is great port

On my A600 with Fast Ram is real smooth- fantastic work

I have one problem with second button.
With CD32 game pad second button works fine, but with my pads/ joysticks with 2 independents buttons, second button don't work (just like pad form Sega MEGA Drive).

Sorry, i don't know about Mega Drive joypads. If some coders want to explain to me how to read them then i'm willing to learn

you have to write #$FF01 to $DFF034 after reading $DFF016 on anything that's not a CD32 joypad.

Also you have to read $DFF016 soon enough after VBLANK (TOF), not during copper interrupt (BOF). And not too often (only once per frame else there can be artifacts/fake presses)

I could fix that in the whdload patch too

Thanks for the hints. How can i determine that is not a CD32 joypad?

There are ways but you don't need to unless you want to support more buttons like play, green, yellow, etc.... Just write $FF01 to $DFF034. works for all joypads.

Ok. Currently my code writes 0xCC00 to DFF034 after reading DFF016. This seems to work with the CD32 joypad. Does 0xFF01 replace this?
I read/write these registers once per frame, but not from VBlank, just in the middle of the frame. Seems to work too.

I'm not entirely sure it works for all types of joysticks.
I should look in the code, but it seems to me that it was a little more complex than that (see somewhere in Rygar AGA's thread).

EDIT: found
http://eab.abime.net/showpost.php?p=...postcount=1520
there is a previous discussion about it in the thread

Thanks Ross.
I would like to use something more simple, that i can just put into my vblank interrupt. Is this possible?

read CIAA+POTGO + ack with FF01 (recommended value from robinsonb5) in the vblank interrupt it works with all joysticks.

Problem here is that some 'bad' joystick doesnt like #$ff0x on POTGO (2nd button get stuck).

Also why set bit 0? Isn't it just for the analog part (dump capacitors and start counters)?

In any case this is a recurring discourse and I am not at all sure I am right
