I've been trying since last night to get Picasso96 to work. I tried a clean 3.9 install with BB1+2 then mediator, then picasso96 to get my Voodoo to work, and picasso96mode won't even load once Amikit is installed.

I have a CSPPC 060/50 604e/420, with a Mediator, RTL8130, Spider USB, and Voodoo3.

Once Little Clock is moved out of WBStartup, it seems to work, though something in the WB++ (or whatever that program is called) is crashing as well.

Just trying to get the RTG/Voodo3 working. Ha, one things for sure, I had to re-install the FastATA drivers as well, so I could actually run my drive at the faster speeds, man is it slow without it.
PS. Forgot that I had to disable CGX, RTG works perfectly fine after that. Also got USB and network working. So everything is shiny.

Sorry if the question has already been asked...

To make "SAGA" compatible you simply have to install the Drivers.
On the Vampire except RIVA PLayer I do not think there are other native applications, La Vampire use a normal OS Amiga.

It depends, if you use WinUAE surely better Picasso96 on a Amiga Real depends on the Video card installed.

Thanks for answers. I should had been more specific. I am putting AmiKit Real on three different setups:

A4000T with Chucky's A3660 and MTN VA2000, A4000T with Cyberstorm PPC, Mediator and Voodoo 3 and A4000D with CyberVision 64/3D.
Any recommendations and experiences with these (or close to) setups?

Not from me, sorry. AKReal works perfect with AGA. The RTG setup included that you can try on WinUAE using "Morpheuz" uses emulated RTG on WinUAE.

There is a Vampire installation made by Pedro Cotter, but I can't try anything related as long as I don't have a Vampire 1200 yet.

Help ... I bought Amikit Real 9 today to use on my A3000T with RTG ( MNT VA2000 ) . Installed 3.9, both boingbags and there it comes: I have 3.1.4 kickstartroms but all I (have) use from 3.1.4 is the newer setpatch command and icon.library.

Unfortunately after installing Amikit Real over the 3.9 installation booting neds up in a crash. I got a little further by commenting out the scsi.device things ( loadmodule and skipmodule things ) and just replacing it with the setpatch command but then ... well I don't know enough to troubleshoot the problem. Anyone who got it running with the newer kickstart, don't feel like opening the A3000T and swap in old kickstarts.

Maybe someone with the knowledge can see in Winuae where it goes wrong booting with 3.1.4 ?

To be precise how in installed it: I made two partitions on the 18gb scsi hd in the a3000t, installed OS3.9 with the needed boingbags in Amikit: . I burned the amikit zip file to a cdr and unpacked the file straight to dh1 and then I installed amikit from there on my amikit partition.

It is turning out to be difficult setting things up for my real A4000T with CStormPPC and CVisionPPC. I cant even seem to make it boot with WinUAE.

On WinUAE it is not difficult to install, this is an old version of Amikit Real v8.5 of mine installed on WinUAE

I also had the old version but accidentally corrupted it so decided to get the latest version.

What I want to do is to install it on a partition for my A4000T and set it up to use CGX (CVisionPPC) instead of AFA or p96

I installed OS3.1, OS3.9 and bb1+bb2. Then installed AmikitReal9 but all I get is a black screen on WinUAE. Using A4000T rom and CVisionPPC rom file.

On WinUAE it definitely works, unfortunately I don't have AKReal9 to test it, anyway AfA OS and Picasso96 are indispensable if you want to run it on WinUAE.

Which configuration should I use to install on WinUAE? If I can make it run there, I can modify it to run with CGX.

Well, you know that it's been a time that I don't enter here and I'm sorry. I also have left an update WIP a long time ago.
Well, I don't know when, but I will update it sooner or later I suposse. In any case I suposse that that will be sooner than the wonderful versions of Classic WB that we all are also using.
In any case, today I've received my for so long awaited Vampire 1200, although I don't know when will I use it.
But, just searching, today I've also found this nice video from yesterday about installing AKReal on a Real miggy

. He is using 3 docks at the same time though, that takes much longer to boot, so I'm suggesting him to put at least AmiDock in the disabled drawer instead.

And yes... I should look about installing Infinite Modules Player, but you can use it just like I could.

got amikit real today to try on my Mister. now rhw MISTer has rtg using video cad driver for here.. https://github.com/MiSTer-devel/Mini...MiSTer_RTG.lha how do i get rgt in Amikit Real? as for i can tell i have all the flies in the right place but not seeing any rgt screen modes in prifs thx ps i have teh rgt working in 3.9 with the same files

AKReal already has an RTG predisposition for RTG installation, you just have to add your MISTer Video Drivers and from the Screenmode choose an available resolution for MISTer

ive copied MISTer to devs:monitors and MISTer.card Libs\Picasso96and dont know what i missed i i dont see and MISTer screen modes in screen modes in prefs

Did you call the Picasso96Mode preferences program already?

It's not required to do that on WinUAE, but I think you have to make the settings there for real hardware in order to get the screenmodes for your monitor drivers. As a WinUAE user I can't tell you how to configure it, but it should be explained somewhere in the P96 documentation. It writes the configuration to Devs:Picasso96Settings.
