Assembly Error
Hi. I am trying out a short course in machine code and some of the program listings include:
BLK.1 1,0 Using various assemblers they create the same error saying it has an illegal operation or size to big. I have attached an example of a listing because I cannot see an issue. |

I'm not fluid in assembler, but doesn't it have to read

Yes, it's not a number but a size specifier (L for longwords).

Wow, the l is exactly the same as the 1 in that listing. I feel the frustration :-)

Thanks for the advice. Yes its hard to distinguish the difference between 1 and I but, I wondered if you could help me with the information and question attached please?
