I just tested the WHDload version and its glitched up on OCS/ECS Amiga´s
but works on AGA

I even tried it on WinUAE with Extreme 060 settings
The WHDLoad version runs flawless with AGA but gets super glitchy only by changing to Full ECS

Yes, i tried every Tooltype in the book nothing could change this.
Please CFOU

TBL is working on the Final Version.

It will have BugFixes and runs native from Harddisc.

This install is buggy on Blizzard IV and Furia. Worse on Furia than Blizzard 030.
Running the ADF from Gotek it is no problem.

I noticed those same glitches on my A600 with Furia. Runs perfectly on my A1200 with ACA 1221 though.

fixed on 68000 and some another enhancement.

soon released

version 1.1 (21.03.2020) done by CFou!:
- QuitKey support for 68000 added
- crash on 68000 fixed (because by error 68010+ special code was forced)
- Fast memory used instead of absolute adress at $80000
(less chip memory needed)
- Tested with all 680xx CPU types (via WinUAE)

have you try with ExpCHip tooltype to compare?

I suppose it is caused by fast memory usage.

Can you confirme?

My previous post was with 1.0 and 1.0 + ExpChip

- With 1.1, it throws an exception at the very start (details below)
- With 1.1 + ExpChip the screen glitches with red and has a lot of distortion after a while and afterwards turns black (music keeps playing, Quit key stops the music, but screen remains black)

Btw, I know it has been a shitty year, but it's 2021 in the meantime (history mentions 2020)

Hi Guys,

Can you test new version please?
here
TEsted on 68000 & 68060 (winUAE=>no GFX seens v1.1a on a1200)

for 68060 NOCACHE tooltype needed (and perhaps NOMMU for some configuration)

There are 2 slave with and without fast memory can you test both to compare please?

Bloody 060...

- With and without Startup-Sequence (so no mmu tables being built)
- With and without NoCache
- With and without NoMMU
- With and without Setpatch

There is one setting, the demo played all the way through here:
- No Startup-Sequence (3.1 ROM)
- Setpatch
- Hologon-fast.slave
- NoCache or Cache (doesn't make much difference)
- NoMMU
- PreLoad

Some red screens and glitches still seen and sometimes the music and video slows down in between effects...

I have perhaps idea for music slow down (had you slow down with first v1.0)?

for the glitches, if I remember correctly in the readme of the authors of the demo, it is indicated that there are some known problems on certain configurations and in particular synchronization problems. I will check the read-me to confirm

Hi there, lovely people

Just tested the 1.1 Version on the Amiga600 Furia Setup.
It ran (almost) perfect. (It needs the CACHE Tooltype)

There was only one slight glitch in the Diamond/Star Sequence.
Two of the pointy Starpeaks do clip/flicker for maybe 1-2 seconds.

Other than that it was perfect. No Advanced or dropped frames.
Good job CFOU !

PS: ohhh and by the way, do you think the ICON is BIG enough ?
this must be the biggest icon i had seen in my hole life

PPS: A picture of the Memory Speed benchmark from my Furia.
Its INSANE

That little beast, i love her

ohhh shi....... i just found version 1.1a

testing.....

So, my results are in

With the new 1.1a Slave i get this Red Screen permanent in the background (tooltypes wont matter)

With the Slave-"Fast" i get some super small Sound stutter a few times in the demo.

For Furia, 1.1 is still the best almost perfect

for information:

you don't need to start without startup-sequence, with WHDLoad you must use WB (tested opn 3.1 & 3.9 with 060)

here official readme extract:
Frame drops and sync losses:
- A4000 with 68040/25
- A4000 with Warp Engine 68040/40
- A1200 with Blizzard 1260
- A1200 with Apollo 1260
- A2000: Some Zorro-II fastmem extensions claimed to be zero waitstate,
which wasn't always true. In case of problems, disable or remove the Zorro-II
memory expansion.
