No I know, it probably will live for some more years. And maybe (hopefully) the new coming console from Nintendo will be backwards compatible.

If it is backwards compatible, I'm getting it for sure. Now even Factorio is being released for the Switch :/ But I don't want to play that on OG Switch hardware, you can't build big enough then.

I guess N64 -> GC, for fairly obvious game media reasons.

And I Guess again Wii U -> Switch again for obvious media reasons.

if the switch PRO or whatever comes next is not backwards compatible I will eat my hat.

I received my copy of The Turrican Collection today. It's quite nice, though the box was massive - I forgot all about the extra's the put in there. I really like the two soundtrack CD's in particular and the art book was nice, with the adverts.

Gonna sit down for the documentary at a later point

IMHO, the emulation is quite good and there's a lot of options to tailor it to your play style. You can even select several different types of music on the Amiga games (original, original CD, remastered CD). Sat down to test Turrican 1 and ended up playing all the way until world 4-1 on my first try.

Seems I still mostly got it
