A600 - Microdrive installed and working, but HDD light never comes on...
What's going on here?
37.300 rom - boots a 4GB MD into 2.1 with 4 partitions fine. Runs WHDLoad games with no issues. I hear the drive spinning. The power light is working. The floppy light works when expected, but the HDD light NEVER comes on... |

Hi mancalledSun,
The problem with the HDD access light is caused by some (usually cheaper) CF-IDE adapters not having a complete circuit. Those CF-IDE adapters can so0metimes be modified so that the HDD activity LED indicates CF card activity just the same. This has been discussed recently on EAB.
