I would love to see the two disks version of Joan of Arc WHDLoaded! There seems to be three langages versions of this game.

I second this suggestion. Joan of Arc is quite nice and deserves an install. Probably someone is willing to write a tutorial in the style of crackersixx nice T2Demo tutorial or some sort of diary while installing it and explaining what has been done and understood! I was working on an install but obviously I'm too stupid for that kind of work...

Just a quick bit of thread Necromancy on this....
... I see StingRay has published a lot of updates recently on some whd slaves, great to see such a sustained level of output for so many years... knowing that he was working on this previously, hopefully he might notice this thread and confirm whether this was being considered for a release? I’m sure a few more than is on this thread would appreciate it. |

Sting, any news on Joan of Arc ? On the site it says:
Joan of Arc (Chip), 95% finished, bitplane wipe effect doesn't appear and needs to be fixed other than that the patch is finished (2016-01-02 StingRay) Maybe 2018 will be Joan of Arc year ![]() |

Cfou - what is the Joan of Arc WHDLoad that is in the Zone ? It seems to boot but it doesn't go past disk change whatever you select.

Stingray is working on WHDLoad's patch so you must contact him if you want a real patch ![]() |

Well, got it working with a generic 2 disk slave. Screen fades don't work and it is instantly loading, so the jingle is a bit annoying (it is sounded while loading, now you still need to wait til it finishes), but you can play everything. Saving doesn't work though.
If Sting is still way off to releasing it I can put it into the zone if anyone wants. |

the game you can also install on Harddisk, but the problem is the same, so you must make an assign:
assign df0: remove assign df0: "" main |

@Snoopy1234
Idk, after all, it is a beta slave never made official. I guess there are some bugs to sort out. |

Uploaded the WHDLoad generic 2 disk version - it is using disk images, not file system and so far no problems noted. What should be fixed in "real version":
- The selection of 1 or 2 drives should be removed (always press on 2 drives !) - The screen fade effect is WAY too fast on fast machines (almost not visibile) - The "loading jingle" is annoying, since loading is instant and you still have to wait til it finishes |
