hmm could you upload the NTSC fix?
Could be useful to test behavior of WinUAE in NTSC mode.

The search for the Crystal crack goes on, Twisties version is simply the FLT version.

Its confirmed that the version we are looking for does actually exist, so dig it up peoples!

Pointless search

Robocop 3 was released on a Friday by Ocean to the software distributors, Splatt! of Fairlight supplied it to Gaston on that same day.... On Friday night, the game was released 100% first time.

So, why would you then want to search for a Crystal version that took them two weeks to crack? By the time Crystal were ready to release Robocop 3, it would have been nuked as a lame release.

a). they were late
b). the fairlight version was 100% so no need for another version

I NEVER saw this fabled Crystal version, so can say with some safety that it is a fake!

The only updated release for Robocop 3, was spookily enough, released again by Fairlight because the dongle protection stopped it working on AGA Amiga's, so we released the Hit Squad Platinum Edition as well.

Crystal Robcop 3 = Fiction!!

ok , they needed 2 weeks more, that other group. but the release also if is nuked exists for me.

Why some people talk about a Crystal release? to remember Crystal, it could be fiction this rel, but exists.

ehm... all the greet and props to FairLight work. nothing to say about it.

Well, on the boards I called, it obviously was nuked before I could get to it. Frankly, I can't imagine why Crystal would bother releasing it two weeks later, so it probably is a fake and not even by them at all. Releasing something that much later would just make them targets for scrolltext abuse.

I have a couple of NTSC fixes that I think are the same as from that list. Obviously only try it on copies. In the Zone.

EDIT: Added NTSC to above text.

Yeah, and you must have fixed/enhanced/removed LOTS AND LOTS of weird stuff there, because it's the only version that will work on old WinUAEs (0.8.8 R8, 0.8.14 Rx)!

I have some notes "somewhere" on the Platinum version of this game (and a few other Platinum releases) that do outline differences in the software, but the changes are for the better and make them worthwhile releases. For a time, I assumed these were just vanilla budget releases, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Wing Commander is another Platinum Edition release that received several updated bits.
