PCMIA squirrel

Hi all,

Just purchased a PCMCIA squirrel CDROM off ebay, it powers up and within the short time it stays powered the amiga can identify it, but it after a few minutes goes dead, requiring it to be powered off for 5mins then powered back on, for which it powered back up and can be seen by the amiga.

anyone know how this might be fixed

Sounds like this would be issue with power board. I suspect capacitors. I had a similar issue with printer that turned out to have a failing capacitor.
