Bah, I've just done my final test of this "Update Pack"... even though I test multiple times before releasing.

Regarding Arcticfox, this is one of those strange games that you need the joystick plugged into Port 1 i.e. where the mouse would usually be.

Using StingRay's new uber crack, there is a craktro

...but obviously you would press the <Left Mouse Button> to skip.

This then changes the Port 1 to mouse, and once in game you'd then need to re-setup for the joystick

So for this reason, I've gone back to the .IPF.

Please just do the following:

Delete the <gamedir> "C:\WinUAE\Games\Arcticfox".
Download / extract this archive into "C:\WinUAE".

WinUAE 4.4.0 isn't in my archives I don't think.

You need to download / extract, see this:

I think so, can't remember... I create this .HDF many moons ago... it's definitely meynaf's fixed version though.

After a few tries it started working on the standard configuration (CPU=68030). The funny thing is that I didn't change anything

update: it randomly starts or freezes on the first black screen with the title Evil's Doom v1.0 (changing to 68020 helps).

That's bizarre, I use v4.4.0 and have done since it's release.

Never had the issue you describe with my "Evil's Doom" .HDF.

You're not touching an settings or trying to use "Warp Mode" with the .HDF?

About the installation, No Hassle at all

The Installer make sure all the Winuae Registries Get everything Right on Place and working Rightaway.

I have been testing lots of my favorite games and this collection is so awesome
Easy to browse, and execute.

Behind the Beauty of simplicity there, I can see Hours an Hours of dedicated hard work to achieve the most complex configurations inside of every single game.
Love how the games with audio tracks are configured to play the music in full Quality.

All the games runs fast on any PC configuration.
From big games like Nightlong Union conspiracy to the golden oldies like Arctic Fox, they run so flawlessly
even in computers with low specs.

And this just gets better and better with each new update.

The Screenshots in the Winuae interface are new to me and looks very good.

Thankyou again my friend for your time and dedication to this beautiful project.

No, "Warp Mode" is a key combination. It's not the "Fastest possible" setting.

See Important Keys listed in the post #2, where there's lots of useful information.

Sometimes "Warp Mode" doesn't work with .HDFs, but usually I think it's when "JIT" is enabled.

Weird, I've tested this .HDF at least 30 times and that has never happened.

Currently at work but will test again numerous times with v4.4.0 once home tonight.

@everyone: is anyone else that has my collection having this issue with "Evil's Doom"? Could you please test / report back?

Working perfectly here for me. Tried 5 times, worked flawlessly each time. Running WinUAE 4.4.0 on Windows 10 on a Lenovo ThinkPad E595 - Ryzen 3500U, 16GB RAM, 1TB NVMe SSD.

Tested the Evil's Doom .HDF 20 times. The issue you've experienced / reported reenstix occurred for me on 3 instances.

To be honest, there's not really much I can do about it. It's an absolutely clean / fresh install of the game; like all my .HDFs are.

It's an unreleased game that has been modified to fix some bugs and get working. Just one of those things I guess.

Luckily it only freezes at startup, so if it happens you just restart and try again

I also tested it on my laptop and the problem also occurs. Probably some bug in this game and not big deal for me. Thank you for taking the time to check it out, now I know that it is not only on my computer
