Why the video in your 1st post is age restricted? Google wants me to verify my age by a credit card, no way I would show them!

Age restriction removed, no idea why it was set in the first place!

Unbelievable Nintendo went crazy with Great Giana and then didn't care about this.

This obviously flew under the big N's radar!

Seems like a reasonably competent engine especially for the 'struggles to scroll smoothly' Atari ST. Would there be an option to edit graphics into something a little bit more familiar...

A lot used to fly under their radar, didn't one of the Amiga mags put a literal port of Donkey Kong called 'Donkey Kong' on a cover disk once?

Atari ST was long since dead by the time of Stario, and there was little to no cross advertising in ST mags from other companies (was there any ST mags left at this point?), so wasn't likely to be spotted.

In the field of Mario clones, Stario Land was one of the all-time best. There were plenty on DOS that looked and sounded better, but only Stario Land gets the physics almost exactly right. It truly "feels" like an actual Mario title.

It uses 1 meg to achieve it by preshifting everything onscreen.
