Yeah, seems to have disappeared from the "EAB File Server".

I have no idea why this would be deleted; nothing dodgy there.

I'll reupload shortly

it was in update pack 24-2 and seems my download RAR was corrupted. So if you do not mind upping it somewhere, I'd be grateful

because the mega link already expired, but to be clear, no need for update pack 24/2 but just Mr Holmes CDTV

Now I have applied all update packs and currently checking the readme for each update what directories need to be removed

Cheers mate!

Thank you very much for your answer but I tried running this on my a570 and the movies are not working.

By the way it's a bin and cue, not iso format... is there another version out there ?

Of course it is, since it is a Mixed Mode CD with one data track and some audio tracks

The ISO format would only consist of the first data track so you would loose the audio

Actually, BIN normally refers to 2352 bytes/sector (raw dump with edc/ecc), whereas ISO refers to 2048 bytes/sector (data only).

You can have ISO/CUE as well, so ISO does not mean no audio tracks.

Difference is rather having one file for all tracks (which requires .bin), or each track as a separate file.

I NEVER EVER came across a ISO/CUE Image anywhere ...

But anyway, a SINGLE ISO won´t work for this CDTV game ....

I might be wrong and I'm not going to read the whole thread but weren't the video files actually stored as tracks on this one. I remember there was great difficulty dumping this.

After a little read I'm not sure it's even on the EAB file server It was always a .RAR
Real shame if it's not

If the above link is right it had to be burned with CloneCD

A clever chap by the name of Truman has managed to correctly image this game on a PC using a Plextor drive! He has kindly provided me with a CloneCD image that can be burnt from any burner and works on original CDTV hardware AND a set of good video files for use with WinUAE

I've just burnt the game using my LG drive and can confirm it working on my CDTV! I'm sure you will all agree this is excellent news and we all extend our thanks to Truman for his hard work

I shall upload the archives to the EAB FTP server in due course for you all to enjoy

I have that game but in its original form of papers inside a ring binder. Was great fun at the time to read, to think a lot and to not solve any case in the end. French version.
Amazing the game made it to computers.
