Been a long time coming really when compared to previous times

...and something I've wanted to do but real life got in the way and massively drained my motivation.

This update was really about cleaning up all the "one-off updated files" and also completing games missing from various "series" i.e:

a) "Sim".
b) earok's "SE".
c) C64 conversions.
d) "Tornado".

...but also a few, new decent additions thrown in that I've found interesting over the past 3 months of sporadic research etc.

Hi Damien,

Thanks for this wonderful collection!! Are you aware of anyway I can update config files to specify full screen on a second monitor?

WinUAE is getting close to being a total front end solution, thanks Toni!

Hi zodiac,

To be honest I've never needed this feature so... but if you save a config with this enabled / working and send it to me; I'll then let you know how to update all configs with this change

Once again, a cracking job done here by DamienD. Thank you just seems so inadequate.

As I didn't grow up with using a single button joystick (asides from playing games on the old VCS/2600), one thing that has often put me off is the use of up to jump, or to accelerate, when my instinct is to use a button instead, like I did on the Sega Master system/Mega drive and Super Nintendo. Also, I found I'd often jump when I didn't want to, or not jump when I did want to. I know a lot of us grew up with this control scheme, and to many of us up to jump feels more natural, but it never has for me. Anyway, as I use an xbox 360 controller, it dawned on me just now that I could use the remap function to remap up to a button. So I just tried that, and now my only wish is that I'd thought of that sooner. I know I may be the last person to think of doing this, but if anyone else is reading this that could never get used to up to jump, well, perhaps this may be worth a try?

Following on from the discussion last night / today in the Giana Sisters Special Edition - Giana Sisters overhauled on the Amiga thread...

I've now adjusted the configuration used for this game

The "title" now looks correct with v1.2 i.e:

...as opposed to:

Just download the attached and extract into C:\WinUAE\Configurations.

Since mid March; I've received a few more donations from various people; roughly £100... thank you kindly all

As always, anything I receive I don't keep for myself as I don't really need the money.... the whole purpose of donations in regards to my collection, as I've already stated, is to give back / support key members of the Amiga community and hopefully kickstart something good

So; this time £50 pounds is going to these two very active game developers: Guys, please PM me your PayPal details and I'll transfer the funds

Thankyou very much DamienD, very generous. No doubt Mcgeezer is doing a super job on not only BombJack Beer Edition (still to play) but his Rygar coding, enjoying reading the threads when I can (happy to help if required).

Meanwhile, todays/tomorrows focus is working on Reshoot R

Here's a small "quick fix" containing earok's latest modifications and clenched's trainer i.e:

Code:
Elf (MicroValue)
Helicopter Mission
Wonder Dog SE [modification]
Wonderboy in Monsterland SE [modification]
So, just do the following:
  • Delete the configuration file "C:\WinUAE\Configurations\Elf (Micro Value).uae".
  • Delete the directory "C:\WinUAE\Games\Elf (Micro Value)".
  • Delete the directory "C:\WinUAE\Games\Helicopter Mission".
  • Delete the directory "C:\WinUAE\Games\Wonder Dog SE".
  • Delete the directory "C:\WinUAE\Games\Wonderboy in Monsterland SE".
  • Download / extract the attached into "C:\WinUAE".
